Cleaning PVC windows with water and shampoo is usually quick and easy, until limescale, efflorescence or stubborn black streaks appear on the profile. That is what Novatio Bio-Paste is for: a white paste that combines a fine abrasive action with a mildly alkaline cleaner (pH 10.1). Rub it in with a damp cloth until it foams, then rinse away the loosened dirt. A thin water-repellent film is left behind.
Why Novatio Bio-Paste?
- Removes limescale and efflorescence, as well as the black streaks that form on PVC.
- Also removes soot from the glass of stoves, fireplaces and paraffin heaters.
- Leaves a water-repellent film on the cleaned surface.
- Biodegradable in accordance with the European Detergents Regulation (EC) No 648/2004.
- Not classified as hazardous under the CLP Regulation, with a fresh citrus scent.
Where can and can't you use Bio-Paste?
The paste is made for metals, plastics and other hard materials. PVC windows, doors, roller shutters and conservatories are typical applications. You can also use it on powder-coated aluminium to remove black streaks: rub gently, without pressing, and test it first in a spot that is out of sight. Do not use it on painted surfaces, such as painted wood.
How to use Bio-Paste
- Dampen a clean cloth or a soft sponge.
- Pick up a little paste and rub it into the mark until it foams.
- Rinse with clean water.
- Wipe the surface dry with a dry cloth.
Good to know
Bio-Paste is also included in the Novatio Maintenance Box PVC, together with Novacare Shamp-Wax for regular washing and Surface Renewer for weathered PVC. For weekly washing, the shampoo is all you need; add the paste for marks that remain after washing.
