1. Who is responsible

Corswarem Window Creations BV, Vrijheidweg 1, 3700 Tongeren-Borgloon (registered office: Negende Liniestraat 19 A, 3200 Aarschot), VAT number BE0683764183, is the data controller for the processing of your personal data through this online shop. Please send any questions about privacy to info@corswarem.eu.

2. What data we process

• Identity and contact details: name, address, email, telephone and, for businesses, company name and VAT number.
• Order details: what you ordered, delivery and billing address, chosen delivery method and payment status.
• Payment details: payments are processed by an approved payment service provider; we do not receive full card details.
• Account details if you create a customer account, and whatever you send us via the contact form.
• What you put together in a configurator or include with a quote request, such as the installation address and a plan, sketch or photo.
• Technical data such as your IP address, browser and the cookies listed below.

3. Purposes and legal basis

• Fulfilling, delivering and invoicing your order and providing service — performance of the contract.
• Our accounting and tax obligations — legal obligation.
• Answering your questions and keeping the online shop secure and working — our legitimate interests.
• Newsletters or promotions, only if you expressly opt in — consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

4. Who we share data with

Only with parties we need to process your order: the payment service provider (Stripe), the shipping service and the carrier (Sendcloud, GLS), the provider of our business software and hosting platform (Odoo), and our accountant. They use your data only for that purpose. We never sell your data, and we only pass it on to others where the law requires us to, for example in a judicial investigation. If data is processed outside the European Economic Area, this is only done with the safeguards required by data protection legislation.

If you look up the aerial photo of your roof in the solar panel configurator, we send the address via our server to Digitaal Vlaanderen to retrieve that aerial photo. We do not store that address for this purpose.

5. How long we keep your data

We keep order and invoice data for as long as accounting and VAT legislation requires. We keep account data until you ask us to delete your account. We keep messages sent via the contact form for as long as necessary to follow up your question.

6. Security

Your data is only accessible to those who need it for their work, and anyone who works with it is bound by confidentiality. We only store the password of your customer account in encrypted form; keep it secret yourself.

7. Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. Send your request to the email address above; we will reply within one month. If you disagree with how we handle your data, you can lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (dataprotectionauthority.be).

Where processing is based on your consent, you can withdraw that consent at any time. To prevent misuse, we may ask you to identify yourself before we act on your request.

8. Cookies

This online shop uses strictly necessary cookies to remember your cart, your session and your language choice; without these cookies, the online shop does not work. We only place other cookies, such as for statistics, if you opt for them in the cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time by deleting your cookies.

We update this statement when our practices or the law change. The most recent version is always available on this page.
