Novatio Novacare & Protect, also known as Guardian Shield, forms an invisible shield that repels water and dirt and protects paintwork and glass against limescale and soiling. According to Novatio, if you repeat the treatment regularly, paint and varnish will also resist UV damage for longer.

How to apply Novacare & Protect
- Wash the surface with Novacare Shamp-Wax and rinse with clean water.
- Spray Novacare & Protect onto the still-wet surface. Allow 15–20 ml per m².
- Wipe dry with a clean Novawipe microfibre cloth.
- Leave the layer to cure: it is fully hardened after 12 hours.

For anyone with new windows or a new front door who wants to protect the paintwork and glass from day one. Specialists can also apply the layer at handover, straight after the final clean with Novacare Shamp-Wax.
Good to know
Novacare & Protect is intended for new windows and doors. If the paintwork is already weathered, dull or faded, Surface Renewer is the product that brings back the colour. The technical data sheet states that Novacare & Protect may produce an allergic reaction, so avoid contact with the skin and wear gloves. Together, Shamp-Wax, the microfibre cloth and this protective layer make up a complete maintenance routine for new windows and doors.
