Cleaning aluminium windows starts with removing dust and sand, because rubbing those grains across the paintwork with a dry cloth risks scratching it. Novatio FA Clean takes care of that first step. This water-based cleaner loosens dust, sand and other mineral dirt, and at the same time tackles organic contamination such as insects, nicotine, grease and light resins. No rinsing is needed, and it leaves no marks or streaks.
Why FA Clean?
- Can be applied as a foam on flat and vertical surfaces, or as a liquid when you want a deeper clean.
- Contains no abrasives and does not scratch when used correctly.
- Spray on, leave to work and wipe off: that's all there is to it.
- Also removes shoe polish and rubber marks, as well as soft drink splashes.
- According to Novatio, it also removes the invisible film that cleaning agents from the production process leave on new profiles.
Uses
FA Clean has been developed for window and door profiles and is safe to use on most materials. As a homeowner, you use it for the periodic cleaning of your external windows and doors; as a specialist, you use it as the first cleaner in a deep clean after installation. It is followed by Safety Clean for resin, tar or sealant residues and Multifoam for finger grease and the last traces of micro-contamination. All three are included in the Novatio Deep Clean Box.
How to use FA Clean
- The bottle has a foam trigger: as a foam, it lets you clean surfaces, including vertical ones, without the product running off. For deeper cleaning, you can also spray FA Clean as a liquid using an ordinary spray head.
- Spray the surface.
- Leave it to work for a while, depending on how dirty the surface is.
- Wipe off with a clean cloth.
- Buff with a dry cloth. On smooth surfaces, a Novawipe microfibre cloth gives the best result.
Good to know
FA Clean causes serious eye irritation (H319). Wear safety glasses and wash your hands thoroughly after use; if you get product in your eyes, rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Do not work in full sun or on a warm profile. The surfactants are biodegradable in accordance with (EC) No 648/2004.
