This 4P 32A circuit breaker (MCB) protects three-phase circuits loaded up to 32 A per phase. It combines three protected phase poles with a switched neutral and takes up 4 modules on the DIN rail.
Typical applications
- a 22 kW EV charger (32 A per phase), if your supply allows it
- the supply to a larger sub-board or an outbuilding
- heavy three-phase machinery in a workshop
Do not use this version on a 3×230 V network, which has no neutral; a 3-pole MCB is the right choice there. In homes, AREI (the Belgian electrical installation regulations) requires at least 6 mm² for 32 A.

Installation and connection
The terminals accept conductors up to 25 mm², including the heavier cables required for 32 A per phase. The supply can be connected at either the top or the bottom. Strip no more than 12 mm of insulation and use a bootlace ferrule for flexible conductors.
Good to know
At 32 A per phase, considerable power is involved: your electrician checks whether your supply, the main protective device and the cable can handle it. The electrician also installs the MCB, after which an approved inspection body must inspect the installation.
