This 300 mA, 63 A residual current device (RCD) serves as the main RCD at the origin of the installation, immediately after the meter. It monitors all circuits together for leakage currents; the 63 A version is the one to choose for a higher-capacity supply.
300 mA main RCD
AREI (the Belgian electrical installation regulations) requires an RCD of no more than 300 mA at the origin of every domestic installation. The 2-pole version suits a supply with phase and neutral, or two phases in a 3×230 V network.

Good to know
