This 4-pole 300 mA, 63 A residual current device (RCD) is the main RCD for a three-phase home or small business. It monitors the entire installation for leakage currents and switches everything off in the event of an insulation fault.
Main RCD in a three-phase installation
AREI (the Belgian electrical installation regulations) requires an RCD of no more than 300 mA at the origin of the installation. With a 3N×400 V supply, that means a 4-pole version; choose 63 A if 40 A is not enough.

Good to know
The 63 A rating must match the circuit breakers downstream, your supply and the upstream protection; your electrician will check this. Leave the installation to a qualified electrician; the inspection by an approved inspection body then follows.
